About homeschool helps

Homeschool Helps came from a need identified by homeschool parents. Parents are not always available to teach their children. Some parents needed support and resources to help their children succeed. Socialization skill development was also a concern for parents.

We cover these areas by…

1. Providing courses online and in person for students.

2. Providing recreational and socialization in-person trips and activities.

3. Providing Life Skills that are typically not taught in traditional class settings.

4. We cater to children’s individual learning styles. Not all children learn the same.

We gather Monday through Thursday for up to 5 hours a day teaching children and youth educational and social skills. We also offer virtual Zoom office hours on Fridays for any student in need of additional support. We identify their learning style and teach them accordingly. We keep the classroom size small. This allows us to provide each student with the attention they need. Not all children have learning disabilities. Some children just don't learn the common core way. However, with tailored instructions and support they can pass the common core tests. 

We serve students grades K-12 and their parents. Our classes are currently for grades 6-12.

We currently have a team of four teachers, teaching courses such as: math, English, reading, life skills, home economics, science, history, constitution, bible, writing, communication, entrepreneurship, and more!
